Fence RFQ preparation

Define layout and fence panel details before quotation

A fence panel RFQ is easier to quote when the buyer sends the layout and panel specification first. Include total layout length, fence height, panel width, wire diameter, mesh opening, coating, color, quantity, packing marks and destination. For detailed posts, gates, clips and small hardware, use the separate accessory notes page.

Fastest fence RFQ package
  • Site layout, total length, corners and section marks
  • Fence height, panel width, wire diameter and mesh opening
  • Basic gate count or access openings, if already known
  • Coating, color, packing marks, quantity and destination
Need post, gate and accessory details? Use this page for fence panel layout and coating. For post profiles, gate openings, hinges, locks, clamps, bolts and accessory cartons, continue to the dedicated notes page. View Post, Gate & Accessory Notes

Fence RFQ details by review step

Use this matrix before sending a project inquiry. If the project has several fence sections, mark each section separately so panels and packing labels can be reviewed cleanly.

1. Fence type and layout Confirm whether the project needs welded mesh fence panels, double wire fence, chain link fence or mixed sections. Send total length, corners, slope changes, gate positions and section marks.A simple site sketch is often enough to start quotation.
2. Panel specification State fence height, panel width or roll length, wire diameter, mesh opening, frame or bending detail, rigidity requirement and color expectation. For security projects, include height and visibility needs first.
3. Basic installation notes Confirm the intended fixing direction only at this stage: embedded posts, base plates, wall mounting or existing structure. Detailed post profiles and hardware can be listed on the accessory notes page. This keeps the fence panel RFQ focused while still flagging installation requirements.
4. Access openings Mark pedestrian or vehicle gate locations on the layout, with approximate opening width if known. Put hinge, lock, clip, clamp and bolt details in Post, Gate & Accessory Notes.Separate the layout decision from the detailed hardware schedule.
5. Coating and finish Confirm hot-dip galvanized, powder coated or PVC coated finish, color code, coating thickness expectation, outdoor exposure and corrosion notes. For coastal or industrial sites, mention the environment before pricing.
6. Quantity and packing List quantities by section, panel marks, post marks, accessory cartons, pallet limits, destination port or delivery address and target deadline.Packing marks help contractors sort panels faster at the jobsite.
