A complete FRP grating RFQ should include application, drawings, panel dimensions, thickness, mesh size, resin direction, surface type, fabrication details, quantity, packing and destination. This checklist helps buyers reduce back-and-forth before quotation.

FRP RFQ details by review step

Use this matrix before sending drawings. If a detail is uncertain, send the application and environment first so QY Metal Tech can guide the next question.

1. Application and environment	Wet platform, chemical floor, car wash bay, drainage trench cover, tree grate, marine walkway, rooftop access or other service condition.For corrosive sites, also open FRP resin and corrosion notes.
2. Drawing and panel layout	Send opening size, finished panel size, support frame, bearing direction, span, cutouts, removable cover layout and installation photos if available.Mark the support direction clearly when several panels share one opening.
3. Panel specification	Confirm molded or pultruded direction if known, common thickness such as 25, 30, 38 or 50 mm, mesh size, expected load and deflection or local standard.If unknown, start from FRP grating selection guide.
4. Resin, surface and color	State resin direction, chemical exposure, UV or fire notes, color requirement and surface choice such as concave, gritted or covered-top.For walking conditions, compare FRP anti-slip surface notes.
5. Fabrication and accessories	List cut-to-size panels, covered edges, cutouts, notches, banding, clips, fasteners, labels, drawing revision number and whether templates are available.Small cutouts and edge treatment often change fabrication time.
6. Quantity, packing and delivery	Confirm quantity by size, pallet height limit, label requirement, export packing, destination port or delivery address and target deadline.Packing details help estimate freight and reduce site sorting work.

Common missing details that slow RFQs

Span direction is unclearPanel size alone is not enough. Mark support direction or send a trench/opening drawing.

Surface is not linked to useSay whether the area is dry, wet, oily, soapy, barefoot, pedestrian-only or used by carts.

Resin exposure is incompleteFor chemical or wastewater projects, include chemical name, concentration, temperature, pH and cleaning method.

Packing and labeling are missingExport pallets, panel marks, destination and unloading limits help us prepare a more practical offer.
